AutoAnything was nice enough to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for this week’s “Featured Friday” and gave me $100 gift certificate. Compulsion lead me to pick up !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the Z to protect it from the elements here in San Diego . Anyone have any experience with covercraft? I’m pretty excited to see how it fits.

I just received a Covercraft sun shade for my 4C, and I suspect my XJ’s OEM sun shade is also made by them. They look identical in structure and finish.
Very happy with the latter so far.

Covercraft makes the best car covers in my opinion. I bought the WeatherShield HP in the winter of 2014. It just shred a couple of months ago, which is 5 NY winters and 4 summers. The elastic is still really springy, and if it wasn’t for it shredding at the roof, the rest of the cover is perfectly usable. I have a feeling the neighbor’s cat clawed at it and caused the tear that opened up with the wind.
The only issue with the covers is the price, but you get what you pay for! I’m going to get the next level up for this winter, the HD, which is the best one they have. It looks like it’s bulky as heck, but I store the Miata outside during the winter and want all the protection I can get.

That’s good to hear - almost 5 years is great ! The Everyday Driver guys only have nice things to say (I know they are a sponsor but still, that’s cool) and you’re right, they aren’t cheap. I went with the UV specialized one because it’s the only one I could apply my discount too and I figure San Diego weather is pretty mild anyway.

These are the best I’ve ever used. Both indoor and outdoor, their covers are custom fit, quite durable, great tie-downs, and material construction. After about 4 years the outdoor one did start breaking down.
